LAX

Josh had three games of lacrosse (shortened to lax, super fun) this weekend.  They played a mixed team from Helena and Billings and two teams from Jackson WY.  This was his the first games ever for most of the team, and for us.

Josh played really well!  His coaches let all the kids play all the positions, and so we got to see Josh try a lot of new things!  Here he's playing good defense.

He's intense, right?

I love the action short with bent legs and a forward lean.

This is a good shot of him cradling the ball.

He's breaking away from the group and heading to the goal.  His legs are so lean...

This is our friend Kyler, mid-air shooting a goal. He's so tough!
This is Josh at a face-off. He did a few of these, and won one.

He got to be goalie for the second half of the second game. It was intense -- he was bombarded with those Jackson boys shooting. He saved a bunch and tried his hardest.  Look at this action shot -- he's off the ground!

He's ready...

See, he's trying his hardest.

This is the Sunday morning shorts -- we widened up and chose some unique shorts for easy viewing. ;)
The Staredown. The Sunday morning game was another beating, they ended up losing 4-3, 11-1, and 12-2 for the weekend.  Josh was tired and didn't have a lot of hassle, but there were moments of good play.  I tell ya this is a fun sport to watch!
