Tiny Bubbles, Frozen Bubbles

We saw on pinterest that if you blow bubbles in the cold, they freeze. Sure enough. If you have enough patience, like Gabe does in this picture, they freeze.

Ashtyn did a  great job of blowing several bubbles.

They were gorgeous -- more colorful and floated higher than normal.

Hoops

Josh is on the Nets this year. He's had a good season, a lot more attentive and into the game than last year.

I love that the kids wear colored wrist bands and match up with the kid on the other team with the same color -- idiot proof defense, or so you'd think.

An Artiste

Luke wanted to paint a nativity scene -- we used egg carton bottoms for the people -- and he could not possibly paint in constricting clothes.  Naked or nothing.

He is a bunch of awesome.

Christmas Card Pictures, Take 1

Luke simply would not put on his Christmas Pajamas, and insisted on wearing his underwear on his head. I can't help but laugh at my little goof ball.
This is what I hoped for -- sweet smiles and freshly cleaned faces. Good job, Joshers!
I finally gave up trying for a keeper and just took pictures of their silly selves.  This is Luke playing a wise man and Josh being a camel. Of course it is.

This is what happens when I say "Make a silly face!"

The Star, the star

Luke got to put the star on the tree this year.  Apparently we're alternating years between the boys -- and they're quiet diplomatic about it.
Look how proud he is!

The Mighty Hunter Boys

The boys got to go to Hunting Camp with daddy and grampa for two nights!  They had so much fun!
They slept three in a row like a dorm. Snuggly by the fire in their sleeping bags, cozy!

Luke liked to play like he was a bear.

They got all festive and put a tree up in the wood pile. Josh cut this down himself with a hand saw. We're really starting them out early!

The decorations are shot gun shells, candy wrappers and headlamps.

A Walk To The Park

We decided to go walk to a park today.  It was a nice little snow-ball fight of a walk.

Josh was pouting because his friend couldn't join us...and he didn't want his picture taken.

I love his 1 1/2 grown up big teeth, can't help but post this picture of his teeth.

I love his hair today -- the curly cue in the front makes me smile.

Love this face.
