Fun Filled Week

What do you think he's thinking?
These goof balls!
They're at the part of school where they just do fun things one after another!
This was Luke's last early release Friday. We've had 3 years of his school getting out at 2:10 and Josh's getting out at 3:30. We try to do something fun and this day we got U-swirl and then went to Play It Again Sports to the batting cage.
We had a lot of fun here.  I'm not a great pitcher, but at least I try and have fun!
The coolest kid we know.

Luke's been playing first base lately. We like it, but not as much as when he is pitcher or catcher.

He got a few nice hits!

Josh had Youth State Lacrosse Tournament this weekend. Here he's giving the guy a little poke.  :)

Runnin!

I love the action shots when he is shooting the ball.  He's always got his whole body into it!

The one-handed cradle.

Charging to goal.

A great shot.

Check out his follow through!  His team did well, but not as well as we had hoped.  They lost 3 (more than all season!) and won 2.
He earned the Game Ball from the first game of the tournament, which was very cool.
Josh was a captain of one game.

Post game celebration Saturday.  What a fun group!

Sunday Josh did a few face-offs. He had been practicing all season and wanted to try, so he finally asked Coach to let him try.
Great season, Josh!  He had 21 goals, and was the team leading scorer.
Crazy kids.  I love this group of friends and I can't wait to see if they stick together through high school.  Hope so!

After the games Sunday he said he was too tired to walk, but still wanted Cold Stone. Lucky kid got a piggy back ride from dad.

Sunday we had the end of year party, and Chewbacca was the goalie for the kids.  What a fun team, right?
