Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, What Are They Feeding You?

Champ decided to eat the plant that she normally plays in, and we wound up at the Emergency Room for  pets this Sunday morning.  Luckily she is fine, disaster averted.
Josh made the best of our time in the waiting room by posing with her.

Taylor Swift has nothin on this kid.

And this is Josh giving her a kiss.  I know, it looks suspiciously like a strangle, but I assure you it was with love.

Champ looks like she is not impressed with his moves.

Official Tee Ball Pictures

Luke's tee ball trading card this year. I love his cheesy fake smile.

And the team pic does not disappoint eitehr.  Look at that goofy boy! He's all mine, baby, all mine.

Go Alligators

Luke has great form.

he's really charging it -- mitt up in the air as he runs toward it.

Hopping on the ball.

So serious.  I think he might be pouting because I told him that he needs to let other kids get the ball this time.

Josh was trying to get Daddy's attention -- he got it!

Luke has the best running form I've ever seen.  Airplane arms are always helpful in running.

What kid doesn't smile when he hits?

He's really hustling!

So fast!

The medal he's wearing is because he is moving up from the 3-4 year old room to the Pre K room. He's no longer a Koala, now he's a Lion.  He couldn't be more proud.

he's really going for the fences.

He's standing back admiring his hit.

Can you just hear him roaring?

And for those of you who know our friend Ty, this is funny -- Ty did not want to hit the ball.  I picked him up to put him in position, but his one hand was still in his pocket.  Guess who didn't hit this time?

Ty has a great daddy who stands with him in the outfield.

Water Balloon Fun

Mike was having fun taking pictures of this, so we have tons of pictures of the boys breaking water balloons in our driveway Saturday afternoon.
Mike asked them to be silly while he was finding the best place to have them stand for the pictures...

This one cracks me up -- who comes up with breaking a water balloon on his butt?

Josh comes up with it, that's who.

This is my favorite sequence of the whole bunch...

Luke had to try breaking his balloon on his head, but no such luck
 .

Baby Lukey

Luke is growing so fast it's hard to remember that he's only 4.  But then he jumps in the bath and I remember.  Look at how much fun he has with just a soapy beard and a cup.
He wanted to pour water on the camera.

He's still small enough to fit in the bathtub.  Look at that bum!

A boy and his Kitten

I love this picture because Josh's smile is real and not posed.

Champ is so curious - it's fun to see her eyes engage on something.
