Day 3 - snorkeling and beach fun

This is technically from the night of Day 2 but oh well.  They slept so well over in HI.
Josh and Daddy got up before Luke, so they went for a beach walk to get us breakfast.  The mornings look so peaceful!
Amber made this bag for me - and we took it everywhere!
Sandy hair kind of makes me cringe - I just can't stop thinking about how hard it will be to wash that all out.  But Luke likes it because it means he's been having fun!

The kids were playing Shark and diving into the waves with their shark fins up.
I could seriously get used to this view.

We did a little shopping at Whaler's Village, and outside of Daddy's favorite store (Rip Curl) was this fun climbing obstacle to entertain the boys.

Luke gives us a thumbs up for lunch on the beach!
Our first of THREE hula pies.

It was gone in a matter of seconds.
We ended up back at the pool for some splashing fun.

Three moons! Thankfully they left their pants on. :)

Trying to get a good picture of the boys smiling is tough!

They did some fantastic jumping in stunts!

Love the casual arms crossed pose here.
Shark fins and shakes...

They were trying to earn "10" from the judges, so I asked them to act out a skit together.  In this one, Luke is golfing and Josh i s the ball.  Ha ha ha--it was everything I hoped for!
Their scores got higher as the tiki mai tais went down.

We didn't want to leave our hotel area for dinner, so we got pizza and took it to the beach for the sunset.  Something we've never done before! We had a Hawaiian Pizza (naturally) and a Kaanapali special, which had shrimp, red peppers and mushrooms on a pesto sauce.

The boys were begging us to go home to sleep. They said their eyes hurt from the pool.  Poor Josh's eyes were the same color as his shirt. (and skin)

Luke's eyes weren't as bad as Josh, but still not good.  He also got a zillion new freckles on this trip!
Our sunset view.

Luke says Peace Out to the sun.

The boys got the worst sunburns of their lives.  We feel so bad, but we just forgot how often we have to reapply in this hot sun.

Poor guys were so sore!
