Kalispell!!

The boys were so happy to play with Rylan!  They got a few hours of playing time, and they loved it!
Luke was so happy that Gramma Wright made chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles for breakfast!

Pink cup for Joshy!

Saturday we decided to go to Flathead Lake.  The boys were amazed with how clear the water was.  They're looking for bottom here.

We got there just in time to weather this storm. We hid out behind Bird Island for a while, and pretty soon the lake calmed right down and the sun even came out!

A lovely day for three generations to take a boat ride!

We took an extra picture with Smiley Lukey.

Look at that wake - the color of the water was stunning!  It reminded me of sea glass.

Can't beat this scenery!

We were looking for big horned sheep on Wild Horse Island, binoculars and all.

We tucked into Finley Point and took turns surfing or wake boarding.  Josh was awesome and crossed the wake twice!

Mike telling me to drive straight.  Head that way, Kath.

Luke had two nice jumps...this is the start of one of them.

We love a good boat selfie.

Sunny Squinty Selfie.

It was pretty chilly with the wind, so the boys used the heck out of the heater.

After everyone had rode and had their fun, the boys jumped in to see if they could touch the bottom. It was around 8' deep, and Josh could touch if he didn't wear a life jacket.

Can you look at this without laughing?

He's ready for his attempt to touch the bottom.

They took turns with the snorkel mask letting the other one jump over them.  So fun!

They shared the Rocky Robe to warm up on the way in for the evening.

We found a bang up joint for dinner, Flathead Lake Brewing Company in Bigfork.

The brewery had shuffleboard in the waiting area.  The boys are hooked, as they should be.  We all love shuffleboard!

They were thrilled to have Jammer Rootbeer (named after the red jammer busses at Glacier Park that we rode last year) and Flathead Lake Monster Huckleberry Soda.  See how thrilled Josh is?

Sunday we went to Whitefish to visit the Great Northern Bar.  The adults played more shuffleboard and the kids played ping pong.  We think the score was very low, they spent a lot of time running after the ball. :)

Next stop, EZ Air- a trampoline place.  The boys were in heaven!  Luke said he had dreamed of a place like this.  I'm sorry for the blurry pictures but it's a tough place to get a good picture.

Luke was bouncing on a Bounce Board for a long time.  He was trying out sick grabs and cool spins.

Josh focused on dunking. He got a few nice ones!

As we were driving home, the boys asked if they could go boating. No way, too cold!
They asked if they could go to Big Sky Waterslides. No way, too cold!
Then they asked if they could at least go swimming?  Maybe if you ask your grampa he'll help you set up the swimming pool.   It was only 60 degrees outside so we thought they'd never actually get in the water, but they loved it!

They asked us for some boiling water and we settled on two cooler-fulls of hot water from the bath tub.  Apparently it wasn't too cold for these two crazy kids!

We stayed bundled up and dry, fully hydrated on the sidelines.  Supervising is hard work.

They set up the mini tramp, then the sprinkler, then jumping into the pool.  It quickly became Jump Over Your Brother, of course.

To show us how warm the water is, they did belly floats for us.  They took an hour long shower to warm up!

We went to Moose's for dinner. In case you're counting, that's three bars in three meals.  Winning!

Luke was taking his peanut throwing very seriously!  He was sinking long shots from way over there!  He made them over- and under-handed.  Steph Curry of peanut throwing!
