Break a Leg

May 1 was Josh's theatre debut.  He was Motel in A Fiddler on the Roof.  This is the performance of "Tradition"

His buddy, Jamie, played the lead role and Josh had a hard time not grinning through the performance.

This is his love interest...Tzeitel.  They were as awkward and cute together as you can imagine, since it is middle school choir.

Trying not to grin...

And then the look of nervousness as he married Tzeitel. Ha!
Curtain call!  His friend is Ryatt, from lacrosse.  So cool that these two get to have such fun classes and memories together.
Yeah, no performers in this group! :)

After a job well done! He was so proud of himself, and we were so proud of him!  He knew all his lines, plus some of the other characters' too.  He did great!

That night was Luke's practice.  He was out here trying out some pitches after practice.

I love his form!

The next day he brought 3 lacrosse helmets to school so his friends could start learning to play. He said that he'd like to play next year, so that's fun. I love that he can have so many options.
Friday the STEM challenge was to make a bird nest using recycled materials, and it had to be off the ground (not resting  on the desk), and study enough to hold weighted eggs.  It was also PJ day, so Luke was wearing his chewbacca onesie.

Josh was in a zone Friday night.  He came home from practice, wearing lacrosse gear, and did a stringing job for a friend, all while watching college lacrosse on TV.

Saturday his team played two games in Great Falls.  They won 1, lost 1, but they played hard and had fun.

The field was right in a flight path, so we got to see some awesome military planes overhead.

We got to see Sierra, Jennifer, and John too!  The boys love visiting her!

Sunday morning Weston came over to visit.  Josh was hanging out in his robe, and they decided to have a bowl of cereal on the back patio.  Classy.
Sunday Mike and Luke went to a Bozeman Bucks game. What a beautiful day for baseball!

Luke even caught a fly ball, which he turned in for candy.
