Wonderful Wednesday (3/14/18)

Good morning from this monkey!

Josh and I took a little morning walk out on the jetty.

Wind blowing, no  make up, chilly morning = selfie time

He wasn't going to turn around until he went to the last rock.

Look at these pancakes!  Oh My God!!

Luke had a baked french toast with fruit topping dish that was incredible.

The view of our resort from the jetty.

Luke liked the jetty too, until he saw crabs. He says they freak him out. :)
After the delicious breakfast, we went to Hanauma Bay to snorkel.  We took no pictures there because we left our valuables in the car.
We let the kids get shave ice for a dessert after their big snorkel adventure, and it was huge.

Just soupy syrup after only a few minutes.

We went to lunch at Kona Brewery and had my favorite meal of the trip.  The fish tacos were so smokey and delicious, plus we were right on a marina so there was fun boat watching.

The boys liked it too, they toasted to the fun time!

Josh ordered sliders, and they came on a taro bun.  Surprising but nummy!

After lunch we drove toward the blow hole and Makapu light house to do a little low key exploring.  Since it was kind of windy and overcast, we weren't missing anything at the beach.

See Makapu light house in the upper left, about half way down the rocky cliff?

The waves were gorgeous color and huge.

Josh hung out on this rock for a long time, just dancing to the beat of his own drummer.

This is the blow hole...which was a cool little stop but not a final destination.

Luke wanted to go join Josh on the rock, but wasn't as content just sitting there.

Whatcha doing down there Josh???

After the road adventure, we went to the roof top pool.  It was fun, but very small and pretty quiet.
These crazy boys love swimming pools.  They make their own competitions and games, and just never stop having fun!
For dinner we walked to Moose McGillyCuddy's for a John Wayne Burger.  Luke had one in Maui, and wanted a repeat.
