We bought a trailer and took it for its maiden voyage to West Yellowstone last weekend. It was great! |
We saw many pregnant mommies but no babies. |
The boys checked off wildlife they saw, so even a squirrel was really exciting! |
We saw theese rock chucks (marmots) playing as we were hiking and we watched them for a nice long time. They looked like they were having a fun time! |
The view was terrific! No crowds at all. |
We took the time to pull off to the springs and paint pots this time. |
We hiked to the Old Faithful Observation Point to enjoy the view. This is on our way down. |
Josh loves using his walking stick as a pointer. |
We got to see Beehive Geyser because we hung out at the Old Faithful area for so long. We're enjoying some ice cream here... |
Beehive is the tallest geyser in the world. |
On the way down from our hike we did some cave exploring. |
We found two caves. one had a lot of poo in it, so of course we spent most of our time there. |
Josh completed the Young Scientist Program and earned a badge. |
He even checked out the Young Scientist Backpack so he'd have proper scientific tools. |
Here he is by Heart Spring...with a cute little huggy face |
It was a long day, and the trip back to West was a nice time to cuddle with their new Seat Pets. |
Conked out! |
