Yellowstone Floating

For our Independence Day holiday we camped with our closest friends at the Yellowstone River. We floated several times each day.  This was the first float with everyone, and we had 18 people in 3 boats.  The "big boys" got the front of the drift boat with their water guns.  Lucky kiddos!

We found a fun sand bar/beach to play.  These kids got filthy.
Luke was making a dog pond for the three dogs we had with us.
These girls were busy making something creative in the mud. They were much dirtier than the boys, go fig.

We caught some white fish and we of course killed them immediately. The kids loved playing with the dead and dying fish.  Beyond gross, but hours of fun for them.

They had no boundaries with those fish !
This is what we got when we asked for a posed group picture.  6 out of 8 kids, mostly smiling, not bad.

this is what we got when we asked for silly faces.  I love that Luke is peeking out from behind Kyler.  Silly silly kids.

these boys are great friends.  AKA partners in crime.

Travis holding Connor -- Connor was by far the dirtiest kid there.
Our crew.   What good friends we have!
While we were getting the boats and trucks all back in order, the kids rode in the back of Kevin's pickup for a minute.  They were thrilled!
