Happy Easter

This is the first year since we moved from Oregon (since we've had kids in MT) that we could hide eggs outside.  The eggs were frosty, but it counts! (p.s. We have no pictures from hunting eggs indoors because the boys were in their underwear, ha ha ha)

As usually, Josh was all business and productivity during the "fun" egg hunt.

Luke ran across the yard, ping pong ball style.

What a sweety.

Josh with his bounty.  He's so proud.
Josh didn't have time for a basket, so he just stockpiled his eggs on the swing.

All of the weekend festivities were just too much for little Lukey, who fell asleep at about 6:30 Sunday night, right on Daddy's lap.

Wedding Crashers

Our closest family friends' kids -- Adyson, Gabe, Josh, Luke and Kyler (Ashtyn was off being social, no doubt. :) ) at a friends' wedding this weekend.  The setting was at a fun ranch, so the kids explored the grounds and had a blast.

Snake Charmer?

Josh and Gabe had a fierce snake hunt on Saturday afternoon. Josh told me he fell into the creek "several " times -- as was evident by his muddy  jeans and boots filled with swampy water.  I asked him if I could take his picture and he agrees, as long as he could choose the poses.  Here is his idea of lookin' tough...

Co-Pilot Position Filled

This!  This is what I hope our summer looks like!  My co-pilot on the back, big smiles all around. (I hope we're in less clothes...summer sun and warmth please come soon!)
I got a new bike -- one that I can take off road but I can still do road mileage with and take to my triathlons. I need a name for her. Silver Stallion? Something to do with Cannondale? Help...

My Little Lukey

Luke and his smile just melt my heart. This is Luke modeling his new color changing shirt that we got him in St Lucia.

His little Christmas elf hat finally wore out and now he's rockin' a groundhog hat.  He's a seasonal accessory kind of guy.

This is the face he made when I said "smile" before he got his hair cut.  Look at that floppy mess.

Swim lessons are a riot to watch. I love his tiny body and his crazy goggles.

Last but definitely not least, here is Luke (aka Raphael).  We're full on into TMNT at this house.

Jeepers!

This is our new-to-us Jeep.  It's a '97 Wrangler. We're THRILLED!

The boys in the Jeep -- they simply could not sit still for a photo.

It looks good in the garage

The windshield says the best thing ever...

XC Skier?

Mike took Josh to a cross country ski activity for Cub Scouts on Saturday.  They had a great time, although Josh reported to like going faster better.  He is a downhill skier, its official.
According to daddy, Josh spent quite a bit of time in this predicament.

He looks professional in this picture!

Josh won this sled at school, and he was so thrilled to be able to try it out.  He came up with this pose on his own, no prompting whatsoever.  Silly kid.

Bowling Boys

Josh took bowling super serious, and even decided he did not need to use the metal rack to help him.  He's all about a challenge!
Luke had great form and pizzazz.
Luke was super happy bowling because they played great dance music!
