Sunday Morning Shenanigans

Gramma and Grampa Wright were here this weekend and bought the boys new cowboy boots.  Clearly they were the only shoe choice for back yard sword fighting this morning. I think Luke is beyond wise to wear the helmet.

I tried to get them to hold still so I could get a good picture, but this was an intense battle.

How could you take this -- the whole thing -- seriously?

Football

He's a good center, just like his old man.

He really likes kicking it too.

This season he's doing a lot better at concentrating.

He had a few plays as quarterback. I personally love this posture...so athletic

Again, the athletic posture is awesome.

Quarterback Keeper!  Go Josh!

Josh LOVES to do fake plays...this is the real handoff after the fake handoff.  Oh so tricky!

Luke plays in the dirt of the baseball infield while we watch football. Here he is running up to kick the football from his "homemade tee".  He's such a good fiddly farter.

Can you just hear him? Oh Yeah - Good Game!

Cub Scouts!

Josh joined Cub Scouts and is going on his first activity today.   Isn't this awesome?

Fashionista?

Luke dressed himself for a big, big day on Saturday.  He had a birthday party and a luau to go to, so he chose three shirts and a tie. First the blue hawaiian shirt, then the red angry birds shirt, then the red hawaiian shirt, and last, the blue sailboat tie.  And to really anchor the ensemble, neon green shorts. He says these shorts "make me look awesome" and we could not agree more.

Looking Good Lukey

Yellowstone National Park

We got out to stretch our legs (and pee) and the boys "posed" by the river for us.
We were waiting for the crowds to thin after Old Faithful blew.  Must have been awfully windy that day!
I wish their eyes were open -- I love the idea of them hugging!

Josh looks very happy to be protecting Luke..Luke, not so happy.

And just a random sweet Lukey picture.
