We hunt our trees with bb guns

Josh is geared up and ready to go. We told him we were going Tree Hunting, he said "I'll bring my bb gun and shoot it down for you!"

Luke thinks that might be a little tricky, but he'll go watch it anyway.

Here are my mighty hunters taking aim at the poor, unsuspecting fir tree.

Who would have guessed-- Josh nailed it with his first shot. He hit it right in the center of the trunk.

He was so proud.

Luke had pulled up a rock to sit on, this was good watchin'.

honi honi

The boys' favorite saying the last few days is Honi Honi.  It means kiss me in Hawaiian, which I learned after a few days of hearing honi honi in my ear.  Here's what it looks like when the boys say it:

Sunday Morning View

The boys were helping daddy make pancakes this morning.  I cannot resist this view.

Or this one...all of them helping in the kitchen just makes me smile.
Luke takes his puzzling very seriously.  He says he is Easy Peezy at Puzzles.

Don't you want to just pinch those cheeks?

Indoor Fun

Saturday morning house cleaning took on a new level of fun yesterday.  The boys decided that the ottoman was a slide and had literally an hour of fun with it.  Crazy kids.

Luke was daring and adventurous in his new scooby doo jammers.

Big Boy Undies

Luke likes his little skin tight boxer briefs and I simply can't stand how cute they are.  I asked him to stand up really proud and say cheese -- here's what we got.

The rear view is really where it's at.  What a cute little bum.  So hard not to pinch it.

Karahhhh-Tay!

Ty (Hilerie's son) gave Josh his too small gee (sp) aka karate outfit.  Josh didn't miss a beat. He was wearing the karate outfit while he unpacked the rest of the care package.

He transformed into a karate master instantly! See how he's all serious about his form?

Big Boy Gloves

Josh wanted the kind of mittens that have all fingers in their own area.  Gloves.  Ask and you shall receive, young Joshua.

He thinks they are for punching.  Watch out, Little Lukey!

Sledding with the Ryles

The four kids huffin it up the hill. Ady, Josh, Gabe and Luke had such a great time sledding on Saturday!

He's intense

He has a complete disregard for his body and his safety. He figured out a winning technique for the races with Gabe. Josh would either run a few steps then jump head first onto the sled, or just flip down on it --similar to how I imagine the first step of bungee jumping would be -- and haul butt down the hill.

But look how much fun he had.

Luke LOVED sledding. He told me over and over again that Sledding is Awesome!  (or more accurately, thledding ith othome.)

He makes me happy.

This is a three-way race. In this race, Gabe was either spinning out of control or chose to ride backward.  Both are likely.  A big fat thanks to the Ryles family for going sledding on a fun Saturday, and for bringing a camera!

Halloween

In a rookie Montana Mom move, the costumes did not incorporate their winter gear.  Luke had shorts and his tiny camo moon boots on. :)

Here are my little pirates heading off to find their loot.

Look at the booty!  The next door neighbors gave out full sized candy bars. wow
